Rebuilding thandai as a modern protein drink
Saffron, spice and nut cream: keeping the festive memory, losing the heavy sugar.

Thandai is the taste of Holi afternoons: chilled milk, crushed nuts, saffron, fennel, cardamom and rose. It is also usually very sweet and very heavy.
Keeping what matters
We started by asking what people actually remember. The answer was always the aroma: saffron and cardamom, a little pepper, a floral finish. Sugar was never the point.
A new base
Korean pine nut gives a clean, creamy body and meaningful protein, so the drink feels nourishing rather than indulgent. The spices stay, gently balanced so they don't overpower.
Every day, not just festivals
The result is something you can drink for breakfast or between meetings, that still tastes like a celebration.
